
March 2007: I shot M40 one windy night in the Davis Mountains. It's a fairly dim double star and not very exciting. I like the two small galaxies on the lower right. NGC4290 is the brighter one, and the tiny one doesn't have an NGC designation. Poor guiding!
Equipment: Canon EOS 20Da (unmodified), ISO 1600, Takahashi TOA 130 (a 5" APO refractor) with reducer for 5 images and with flattener for 26 images, Losmandy G-11 mount. My current image processing workflow is here.
